The Hotel Isabel was built in 2001 and extensively renovated in 2010. The hotel complex was built to resemble a dream Canarian village with ample tree-lined walkways, flowers and water features.
The hotel is located on a prime site in the centre of Costa Adeje between the beaches of El Duque and Fanabe. The views are superb all round with a mountain range to the rear and the coast and the island of La Gomera dominating the view to the sea. The complex is only 20 km from the airport and a mere 2km from both the world renowned Siam Park and Las Americas. 6 golf courses are within a 20 minute drive and the area has many excellent restaurants and bars nearby.
It’s in the area of service and facilities where this complex excels, however the children’s club may be the best equipped and staffed in the whole of Tenerife. There is a large, monitored, state of the art playground for young children; a multi-purpose court for football and basketball competitions;beach volleyball and tennis courts; archery and water-polo competitions; bouncy castles and foam parties etc…
There are 3 pools – 1 for adults only, 1 for children and 1 combined. All pools are temperature controlled all year round. Hammocks, beach-mats, towels and sun-shades are free and readily available.
On top of all this there are the indoor facilities – fully equipped gym and wellness centre with pool and table tennis tables. The staff are courteous and extremely professional and specialise in any problems associated with young families – baby-sitting, sun-burn etc..
The Hotel Isabel complex is split into apartments (with living room, bedroom and bathroom), bungalows (with living room, bedroom, bathroom and garden) and villas ( 10 have one bedroom, living room, bathroom and indoor jacuzzi – another 10 have two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a larger outdoor jacuzzi).
The hotel has a huge main buffet restaurant which can seat up to 400 guests. The hotel prides itself on the variety and quality of its cuisine. On top of this there are no less than 5 bars around the complex so everyone is close to a drink or a snack at all times.
Overall then, the Hotel Isabel must rank with the best family-orientated hotels in Tenerife. A brief glance at the positive reviews for this complex should give you confidence in booking your next family holiday here.
We would recommend booking your transfers to and from the airport with Precious Time as the bus trips are hot and sweaty and can take over 2 hours.
